Overall it is a special and little hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay, the location was magnificent easy to walk to everything. Everyone is helpful and host too.

Very helpful staff and lovely location really close to everything, everything was high quality. Location: the hotel was adjacent to pubs, restaurants and supermarkets, the cliffs looking out over a wonderful view of the ocean and Folkestone itself which looks great.

Loved Folkestone, the hotel was wonderful and stunningly beautiful on the Eurotunnel. The room with tea/coffee facilities.

We had a wonderful stay at Merchant39. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our young children had suitable sleeping arrangements. The rooms were tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of the harbor and town center. We appreciated the small kitchenette and the complementary gin and tonic. The host even helped us with our luggage. we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Although the water pressure in the shower could have been better, this seems to be a common issue in the area. Additionally, there was some noise disturbance caused by seagulls during the night, but bringing earplugs would easily solve that problem.

the location was marvellous, within easy walking distance of the leas promenade. the staff was attentive, created a perfect atmosphere.

I had a fantastic stay at Merchant39! The room was small but had everything we needed, and it was clean and bright. The bathroom was a good size as well. The location on a quiet road ensured that we weren't bothered by any outside or inside noise. We were fortunate to have a private parking space nearby, and the hosts even provided a Google maps link to direct us there. They were very friendly and even left some welcome extras in our fridge.
